What is most frustrating about the staffing industry is that most of our competitor’s WORDS don’t match their VERBS. In other words, our industry has a reputation for SAYING one thing and DOING another.
You see, at the heart of the staffing industry there is a conflict of interest at work that causes this epidemic. One that is ignored and few are even aware of. Imagine an attorney attempting to represent both a plaintiff and a defendant at the same time, or a sports agent negotiating a contract on behalf of both the Athlete and the Team. It wouldn’t work, would it? Of course not. So why would we expect it to work in the staffing industry?
How can a company equally and sincerely serve the needs of Candidates and Employers at the same time? Usually, they just end up serving themselves by chasing sales, closing deals and putting butts in seats as quickly as possible.
Today’s staffing world generally offers very little, if any, true value or satisfaction for Candidates or Employers. To a lot of people, we’re simply a “necessary evil,” just like a used car salesman.

As a former Lakeshore candidate myself, I feel I can speak to the overall customer experience provided by Lakeshore, both on the employer and the candidate side. Now, as I sit as an employer on the other side of the table, I find Lakeshore to be exactly the right fit for REpower’s employment and temporary hiring needs.
